Hiking Trails From Echo Point



The Blue Mountains, found in New South Wales, features some of the most wonderful natural attractions in Australia. Access: Start either end, at Katoomba Cascades (close to Scenic World) or at Gordon Falls in Leura. Walking the 1.5 kilometre Katoomba Falls Circuit by foot will enable you to take in everything that this famous Blue Mountains feature has to offer. Princes Rock Lookout offers an absolutely stunning view over the Jamison Valley.

Then you can still do the Henry Cliff walk back to Echo Point. The track starts at Scenic World and guides hikers through lush rainforest all the way to Katoomba Falls, with panoramic views of the valley below. The valley is located between the Great Western Highway and Bells Line of Road, the two major routes across the Blue Mountains.

The eastern parts of the Blue Mountains lack the massive cliffs that characterise the area around Katoomba, but there is still a lot that is worth seeing. The Blue Mountains National Park offers so many best things to see and do, that visiting it only on a one-day trip from Sydney can seem almost impossible.

The relatively short but scenic Nature Track is a refreshing 3.5 km circuit trail Hiking that starts and ends at the Conservation Hut in Wentworth Falls. Another great area for short Blue Mountains walks is Blackheath. Walking along the dusty track allows a few glimpses of the neighbouring Megalong Valley before reaching Cliff Drive in Katoomba.

Airbnbs: There are plenty of Airbnbs in the Blue Mountains, from cosy bush cottages to huge holiday homes. Veer left: From the lookout, this walk heads north along the bush track, winding along the left-hand side of the gully. There are so many amazing bushwalking tracks to explore throughout the Blue Mountains region.

Other easy hikes include the Ocean Trail to Otter Cliffs that clings to the edge of lands' end over the Atlantic surf and exploratory walks atop Cadillac Mountain. 2. Makapu'u Lookout: The eastern most point of Oahu, the Makapu'u Point area offers miles and miles of raw hiking trails that reach a seaside overhang.
